Hotel Terms and Conditions 

The price you pay

All prices featured are per room per night (unless stated otherwise), based on two people sharing a standard twin/double room and are subject to availability. When a meal is included in the price, the hotel will inform you at check-in of the restaurant in which this is to be taken and, if appropriate, the allowance available should you wish to dine a la carte and pay the relevant supplement.

All prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to change without prior notification. Please note the rates featured are 'FROM' rates and will vary due to seasonality and peak times of year.

The full price for each break, with the addition of all extras incurred during your stay, is to be settled in full before departure by cash, cheque with current banker's card, Maestro, HCB, MasterCard, Access, Visa, Diners or American Express.

Supplements apply for upgraded accommodation and single room occupancy.

A child is classed age 0-14 years inclusive, age 15 years and above are charged the full price. When a child is sharing an adult's room charges apply for cots and extra bed's to be provided in the room. Charges for cot's and extra beds will be clearly explained at reservation stage. If booking bed & breakfast or a dinner, bed and breakfast package with children and/or infants, the price shown will include breakfast for the children/infants. All other meals will be charged as taken unless otherwise stated.

Bookings are taken at the discretion of the individual hotel and subject to availability.

A full non refundable, non transferable payment is required for promotional rates at the time of booking to confirm reservation . These rates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Normal Leisure Breaks Brochure terms and conditions apply. We monitor business calls for quality control and training purposes.

VAT is included at the current prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Prices may be restricted or may not apply at some of the hotels at certain times.

Credit Card Charges

Payments made using a credit card will be subject to a transaction fee of £2.50 (£3.50 for American Express) there is no charge for payment with a debit card.

Service Charge

Service Charge is inclusive at 10 percent in our Restaurants, Room Service and Private Dining Rooms.

Your booking

If making a reservation in a De Vere Hotel, the contract for your stay is with De Vere Hotels & Leisure Limited, registered in England No. 418878.

Special arrangements

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately, we can not guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.

Cancellations / amendments by Us

In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this does arise you can
1. accept the changed arrangements as notified
2. make an alternative arrangement with us or
3. cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid

Your money is safe

In the unlikely event of insolvency, any pre-payments made by you or packages sold within the meaning of Travel Holidays and Package Tours regulations 1992 are secured by a trust of which Messrs Hammond Suddards Trustees Limited are independent Trustees, c/o Wrigleys Solicitors, 19 Cookridge Street, Leeds LS2 3AG.

Leisure club facilities

For full details of extra facilities offered, the charges and availability of these please contact the hotel direct. De Vere Hotels - Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when in the Leisure Club. The following minimum ages apply in the Leisure Club: Gym 16 years, Spa Pool 8 years and Snooker 16 years. It is also recommended that saunas and steam rooms are not suitable for children under the age of 14. Children's times may vary please check on booking.

Car parks

Most hotels have their own car parks, free of charge. However, cars are left at the owner's/customer's own risk, this also applies when staying on a Before You Fly package. The company does not accept responsibility for loss or damage. At The Grand, Brighton, University Arms, Cambridge and Royal Bath a daily car parking charge is applicable and spaces can be limited - please check when booking.

Lodge Rental
All lodges and rates are subject to availability. Included in the rental price is self-catering accommodation for up to the maximum number of guests in your lodge and VAT. Prices exclude electricity and phone call charges.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your reservation. Full payment must be made no later than 8 weeks prior to your arrival. If you plan to arrive within 8 weeks of your booking then full prepayment will be taken at time of booking.

Cancellations within 8 weeks of your arrival date will incur a penalty - for more details please contact reservations on    0845 4...  .

 

The complimentary round of golf is valid September to 31st March 2009, is subject to the tee time availability and must be booked in advance. The 15% discount of food and beverage is valid Sunday to Thursday for a maximum of 8 people and is not valid on public holidays or during special events.

Pet policy

At some De Vere Hotels we will accept small dogs, please check at the time of booking. Assistance dogs are allowed.

Cots and extra beds are available in most of our hotels, however these are limited and are subject to availability. Please check at the time of booking. A small charge is made for cots and extra beds.

Just The Ticket

Rates are quoted based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing a standard twin/double room unless otherwise stated. University Arms offer based on 2 adults sharing a twin/double for 1 night. Lucky 7

To qualify for a prize, all events must be confirmed and take place at any De Vere Deluxe or Collection property between 1st October 2008 and 30th September 2009. Qualifying bookings must be over £7,000. Bookings must be new bookings created, or existing tentative or prospect bookings converted (turned definite). These can be group, conference, function or golf enquiries.A maximum of 24 claims per company can be made for this promotion.

To be eligible to redeem a prize all redemptions must complete the form at devere-hotels.co.uk/lucky7rewards. Prizes must be redeemed by 31 December 2009. This offer is for direct corporate bookings and for bookings via 3rd party, however only one claim can be made per individual booking. Prizes will be issued after the event occurs and with proof of stay. Accommodation prizes are subject to availability.

The prize will be a 14 night Caribbean cruise onboard Independence of the Seas in an ocean view stateroom and include all meals, entertainment. The winner would need to cover gratuities and any taxes/fees. The prize will be subject to availability and could be subject to change. Grand prize draw will occur on 7th October 2009 and winners will be notified by email. No cash alternatives are available.

The Duchess

All rates are subject to availability and are based on two adults sharing a guest room. Supplements may apply for children sharing with adults. All rates are valid until 12th October 2008.

All rates are full pre-pay. Non-refundable, non changeable. Weekend supplements may apply at selected hotels. Weekend availability may be limited in some hotels. Guest room upgrade is subject to room type availability. Cinema tickets are to be used at guest's leisure and terms and conditions may apply. Complimentary wine and cinema tickets are included per booking, not per night.

The first prize is a luxury weekend at Cameron House in a suite, dinner for two at one of the restaurants (winner to book a table), couples spa treatment, a Champagne Loch cruise on the Celtic Warrior and chauffeur driven journeys to and from the hotel. Prize winners will be notified and dates for redemption are subject to availability.

The second prize is for two tickets for the screening of The Duchess at the Kempinski Hotel in London on 27th October 2008 with Champagne including up to a maximum of £300 towards travel and dinner. All extra expenses and incidentals incurred are the winner's responsibility.

The winners will be drawn at random from all correct entries received prior to the close of the promotion and notified in writing on 14th October 2008.

Corporate and Society Golf

Offers are valid on new business booked and confirmed by 17th March 2009 and held at any of the listed properties prior to 31st December 2009. The offers, accommodation and tee times are subject to availability, are not valid on Saturday nights and terms and conditions may apply. The offers do not include beverage consumption. All bookings must be for 16 people or more to receive offers. The specific elements of the offers may vary at some properties, full details will be confirmed at time of booking. Sunday Driver

All offers are available on new bookings only, subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Supplements may apply for children sharing with adults. Saturday night supplements may apply. 4 night rates include up to two children staying for free on a bed and breakfast basis when sharing with adults. Subject to room type availability.

Easter Breaks

All offers subject to availability. 2 children stay free when sharing with adults, meals paid for as taken. Full pre-payment required at the time of the booking. Not valid for existing reservations or group bookings. Non refundable and non-transferable. Oulton Hall and Slaley Hall dinner, spa and golf times need to be reserved at the time of the booking. Cameron House activities confimed upon arrival. All activties weather dependent. Herons Reach rate available Sunday to Friday until 30th April 2009, golf to be taken Monday to Thursday. Carden Park rate available Monday to Friday until 30th April 2009. Free upgrades subject to availability and will be confirmed at time of booking. The Grand, Grand Harbour and Royal Bath rates apply until 30th April 2009. The Grand £70 supplement applies for Saturday nights. Royal Bath £50 supplemnts apply for Saturday nights.

Pop your Cork: Lodge rental terms and conditions

All lodges are subject to availability and the rental is inclusive of self catering accommodation for up to the maximum number of guest for the lodge booked. 
A non refundable deposit of 30% is required at time of booking and cancellation is 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. 
The complimentary round of golf is subject to availability and must be booked in advance of arrival.

Valentines 2009

Lodge Giveaway

A single booking must be worth over £10,000, bookings that qualify can be for conference, group, banqueting or golf. All events must confirm with a signed contract between 1st February and 31st March 2009, and the actual event booked must take place between the 1st February and the 30th December 2009.

Offer is applicable to new bookings created or existing prospect or tentative bookings as long as they are contracted between the specified dates. The offer is extended to direct corporate bookings and bookings via 3rd parties, however only one holiday will be awarded per individual booking and a maximum of 24 claims can be made per company.

There is a maximum of 500 lodge holidays available for the duration of one week per holiday and dates are subject to availability. Lodges may vary in size based upon the claimants party and vary from luxury apartments accommodating 4 people to luxury lodges accommodating up to 6 people.

Holidays will be available to claim after the event occurs and when full prepayment has received. No cash alternatives are available however the offer can be used in conjunction with other offers such as Lucky 7.

Holidays cannot be split to multiple dates i.e., two separate weekends; the break must be one full week. Holidays must be taken by the 31st March 2010. Scottish Summertime Reborn at Cameron House
